Gentamicin Injection 5% Cattle is effective for Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by
gentamicin sensitive bacterial in poultry, horse, cattle, calves, sheep, goat, dog and cat.
Animal 50ml Gentamicin Injection 5% is for Intramuscular injection.
Animal Gentamicin Sulfate 50ml Injection Contra indications:Severe renal disorders accompanied
by azotemia; Do not apply simultaneously with general anesthetics, muscle relaxants, other aminoglycosides
, polymyxins.
COMPOSITION:
Gentamycin base: 100 mg /ml
Solvents ad: 1 ml /ml
DESCRIPTION:
Gentamicin Sulfate 50ml Injection belongs to the group of aminoglycosides and acts against mainly Gram
-negative bacteria like E. coli, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. The bactericidal action is based on
inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.
INDICATIONS:
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by gentamycin sensitive bacteria, like E. coli, Klebsiella,
Pasteurella and Salmonella spp., in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to gentamycin.
Administration to animals with a serious impaired liver and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration with nephrotoxic substances.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Gentamicin Injection 5% Cattle:For intramuscular administration:
General: 1ml per 20 - 40kg body weight twice daily over 3 days.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Hypersensitivity reactions.
High and prolonged application may result in neurotoxicity, ototoxicity or nephrotoxicity.
WITHDRAWAL TIMES:
- For kidneys: 45 days.
- For meat: 7 days.
- For milk: 3 days.
